Penguin Pins
Club Penguin is a very popular game for kids. In this game, you become a penguin and you waddle around a fictional island, playing mini-games, earning coins that can be used to purchase clothing and furniture, and chatting and interacting with other penguin players. It’s very safe and entertaining for kids.
One of the favorite activities in the Club Penguin game is searching for the collectible pins. These rare pins appear once every two weeks and are placed in a secret location somewhere on the island. Only one pin is available at a time, and after two weeks, they are replaced by a new collectible pin and can never be found again. The pins are usually easy to spot but due to the sheer size and scope of the world, they can be challenging to find at times. Also, because a pin is only available for two weeks, players need to remember to log in frequently if they want to collect all of the pins.
The pins are small graphics that appear somewhere in plain view and usually the name and appearance of the pin is related to an upcoming event in Club Penguin. For example, the King’s Crown pin appeared immediately before the Medieval Party began in May, 2009. Often the pins will have a connection to a seasonal event such as Halloween or Christmas.
Trying to locate the pins each time they are hidden can be tricky. Club Penguin doesn’t provide any clues for its location and it can take a long time to search every area on the island, since the pins can be hidden anywhere inside, outside, or even underground. A great tip is to team up with some friends and divide up the areas to search. When one of you finds the pin, you can alert the others. If you get stumped trying to find it, don’t despair. There are a lot of web sites that provide exact locations for the pins, including screenshots and sometimes even videos of how to spot them. Just search on Google and you’ll probably find the pin very quickly.
Don’t forget that each pin is only available in the game for two weeks. You need to return to the game often in order to collect all the different pins in the game. And it’s never too late to get started so waddle on over to Club Penguin today and start searching for the pins!
