Do you think you have had a premonition before? How is it that some people know when things are about to happen before it even occurs? Is this just a gut feeling that things are not right or is it paranormal? Scientists have not ever believed in premonitions. They only believe in things that they can prove are facts. They do not believe even though there have been numerous events that have been foretold in a premonition or a feeling prior to it actually occurring.

Is It Possible To See the Future?

Ian Stevenson, a biochemist in Canada and a psychiatry professor, has a very prominent example of recordings of premonitions. Two weeks prior to the Titanic devastation he was able to record over nineteen different premonitions from his patients. Each premonition included something like visions of people canceling their trips because they felt that something bad was going to happen and even some dreams that people had of the actual disaster.

Nearly every person that has had a premonition has said that it was not pleasant at all. They tend to come with a terrible feeling of fear and an overwhelming sense of being uneasy regarding the coming events. It is common for people to know that something bad is about to occur but not know enough to make a difference.

Premonitions are far more common than most people realize. The premonition is normally about someone or something that will affect you. They may come in different ways. It can be a dream or a feeling. Many call it sixth sense.

Many of the premonitions are regarding robberies, murders, death, accidents and plane crashes. These are the most common types that are experienced. The incident typically happens very close, in a matter of hours, from when the person has the premonition. The dream comes with the emotional feeling of discomfort and leaves them feeling very uneasy. They are very able to explain how much dread they feel once they have had a premonition of this type.

Then there are dreams that we have no doubt about the meaning. They are clear and the dreamer sees something happening to a family member or someone close. This can be a very upsetting dream and often people will try to block it from their minds. They may succeed for a while until the dream comes true.

Can premonitions actually be from another world? A premonition is something you see as a dream or a feeling that you get. The apprehension in your life tends to lead to a premonition about things that are yet to come but it is not always clear what it will be. Premonitions are very sense oriented.

Could it be that things are happening in another dimension and we are seeing it in a premonition? It could be that when we go to sleep we are actually seeing the things that are happening in the other dimension. The theory of astral projection may just fit with this explanation.

Is this something that is just too far out to actually occur? Many people over history has had to face ridicule for something that they believed in firmly because, in that moment, it seemed truly impossible. Do you think that people actually believed that a man would take a walk on the moon one day? If, prior to the actual event, it was brought up, surely everyone would have considered the person to be crazy.

How Do You Explain These Premonitions?

Just because something does not fit in with the normal way we think, is it to be dismissed without another thought? There are many instances of premonitions that have been recorded throughout time. Take for instance the premonition of Abraham Lincoln of his own death. He dreamt only ten days before his death that he was with people who were mourning in the East Wing of the White House. He asked a soldier standing nearby who it was that had died and the soldier told him it was the President.

Does the book Futility that was written in 1898 sound familiar to you? Maybe the Wreck of the Titan? It was written fourteen years before the Titanic was sunk. It tells a story about the Titan, a ship that sank in the North Atlantic. The ship was sunk by an ice berg, there were not enough life boats to go around, it had three propellers, and the Titanic was the exact same size. All of these things are much like the Titanic right down to the names of the boats.

Morgan Robertson is the author of the book. How is it possible that he wrote about such an experience that would come pretty close to true fourteen years down the road? No matter if you call them visions or premonitions, the events of the book are very similar to the Titanic that actually sunk. Is it possible that the author had a premonition of the event and decided that he would publish it in a book?

It is possible that this question will never be answered. Only at their own pace will the mysteries that are found in the universe and the mind unfold. The things that will be shown to someone cannot be predicted.

Past life regression teaches different techniques, which when learned and put into practice, will help you to recall your previous life or lives. Of course you will need to decide which of the available methods is best for you. With more and more people beginning to be interested in reincarnation people are needing to find out about these different techniques.

A good tool that can prove very beneficial when referred back to is a journal. In your journal you will need to record all your thoughts and feelings. Even those that seem inconsequential to you at the time. You also need to write down any emotions that you may feel, as it is generally believed that emotions are a strong link connecting us to our past life or lives. Do not forget that even something as unimportant as an irrational fear of cracks in a sidewalk can prove very useful and need to be made a note of in your journal.

To start with you should begin your journal by describing yourself thoroughly. Write about your likes and your dislikes. Describe what food you enjoy, what phobias (if any) that you have. If you find that you feel a particular affinity with a time period in history, or with a certain culture or even climate, write about that as well. Do not forget to write about what your talents are, and what you enjoy doing. Even writing about animals that you feel drawn to, or perhaps afraid of, can prove useful. Describe your personality and if you experience things like deja vu. If you do, record your experiences when you have them.

Another important detail you should record in your journal is when you dream. Although our dreams are also current they can still reveal important clues and information. Assuming you are able to recall your dreams, be sure to record all the details of them.

Past life regression might be the way to go.

A past life regression therapist guides you through your past life and interprets the information with your help. These therapist are trained professionals who use hypnosis. With time some people can learn to do self-hypnosis but for those who cannot, seeing a past life regression therapist can prove very beneficial and helpful.

Many people use Meditation as a way to find out about their past lives.

Because this technique means that there is no professional in attendance, many people find it difficult to trust what they get during the regression. However, when it comes to meditation, you have to be able to trust not only your feelings but your instincts as well.

Many people, especially beginners, feel like all they are doing when meditating is daydreaming. But something of significance can still come through. Recording this in your journal can prove helpful.

A lot of people find that listening to music while they meditate is all they need to be able to relax and focus their minds. Alternatively, you might prefer to listen to the soothing and calming sound of water, or the helpful guided meditation audios that are available today. Lighting a pleasant smelling incense or burning some scented candles can help you to relax as well. Whatever you choose to help, it is important that you are completely relaxed and focused. If none of these do the trick then you might want to try something else.

Binaural Beats

This a type of audio process that when listening to various frequencies you can achieve a state of meditation that Zen monks can reach. When meditating, make sure it is somewhere quiet and peaceful. It is important that you can get comfortable whether sitting or lying down. While getting comfortable focus on relaxing and maintain a positive frame of mind.

It is important that you are relaxed and that you are not distracted by thoughts about everyday things. Simply acknowledge the thought so that it does not keep recurring, and so that you do not forget it, then put it out of your mind. Remember that meditation does not just happen, it takes practice before you will reach a true meditative state.

Among other things this method can also assist you with regards to issues you are faced with in your present life, including relationship issues. You might, like others have, discover that you have shared lives with people in past lives that you know in your present life. A bit of research will confirm, or not, the information you received.

Reincarnation is a belief held by many of the world’s religions. Some believe that we experience the consequences of that which we did in our past life or lives, whether good or not, in our current life. It is called Karma and is not that different from regression, in that once you have discovered information about your past life it can help you when faced with issues in your present life. It is all about learning from our mistakes in the past, and that can only enhance and enrich your current life experience.

As with many things it is important that you keep an open mind about what you discover. You need to be able to accept the information you receive about your past life, because that will enable you to not only learn from past mistakes, but also afford you the opportunity to correct them in your current life, making it better than the previous one.

Many experts in these area feel that has very positive impacts on your life now due to fore mentioned, learning from the past and if you still don’t accept past lives your subconscious may free a block in your mind that has had a negative effect on your body. There are other benefits from having done a past life regression.

As already mentioned past life regression can help us by identifying the mistakes we made in our past life or lives, and not repeating them in the present life. The way we do that is by confronting those past life issues head on.

But past life regression can also help you to understand why you are the only artistic one in your family, especially once you have discovered that you were an artist in a previous life. You will be able to identify the talents you had in your past life and apply them to your current life, thereby enriching it all the more.

In short, because regression can give you the opportunity to understand yourself better and so make better choices, it is a process that is worth more investigation.

by Rich Bordner

“Religions might differ on the peripherals, but they are the same deep down. Each religion is fundamentally about loving one’s neighbor and doing good.”

This isn’t just a “man on the street” belief. Lawyers, doctors, and scientists hold to this as well. It is murmured in quaint coffee shops around the world and shouted from the couch of your favorite talk show. Oprah has made a career on this brand of pluralism.

Before we throw our lot in with the pluralist crowd, though, we should pause and think. Is it really true that all religions are fundamentally the same?

A moment’s reflection will tell you this notion is hopelessly bankrupt. For starters, some religions don’t have the golden rule. Others don’t stress loving one’s neighbor. In fact, goodness isn’t even on the radar screen with some religions. Past that, even among the religions that have something like the golden rule, it isn’t central. If you analyze the central tenets of the world’s major religions, for example, you will see they are worlds apart.

Christians believe Jesus was crucified on a cross. There is no Christianity without that belief! Muslims, however, reject that; what’s more, to Muslims, holding to the crucifixion of Jesus is no small thing–it’s a big no-no! Jehovah’s Witnesses believe Jesus was the archangel Michael, and Christians reject such a thing. God is a personal creator who is separate from His creation in Christianity, whereas all is one in Hinduism. All these beliefs are main pillars of each faith. Even each faith’s beliefs in the afterlife are worlds apart–heaven, reincarnation, nothing, etc.

In no way, shape, or form can all these beliefs be true! Take yet another example: beliefs about the afterlife. Some religions claim you go to heaven or hell, while others claim you are annihilated. Still others claim you are reincarnated. These are not personal taste claims; these are claims about reality, and therefore the laws of logic apply to them. When you die, you can either go to heaven, rot in the ground, or be reincarnated, but in no circumstance can you do them all (Or they can all be false. That is a possibility)!

Some might counter all this with the thought that “what’s true for you might not be true for me.” That is, God exists “for me,” but not for someone else. Think about this: what does that even mean? Am I to suppose that somehow, God pops into existence “for me,” but suddenly pops out of existence when someone else is talking? The only things that act like that are fairytale placebos. If that is what God is like, then at bottom, He really doesn’t exist, not that He exists “for” some but “not for” others.

Another objection is that all this reflects a western way of thinking. In the west, so the argument goes, it is either this OR that, but in the east, many people are comfortable embracing contradiction. A more common way to think in the east when it comes to contradicting beliefs is “both/and.”

Don’t fall for this! Even in Tibet, they run when they see a charging bull; they understand that it’s either them or the bull, not both. It might look like the “both/and” system reigns supreme, but at bottom, reality is still fundamentally either/or when it comes to contradictory beliefs. Notice that the easterners who harp on the “both/and” choose that way of thinking *instead of* the either/or.

The next time you are discussing religion with your buddies and one of them starts waxing eloquent about pluralism, don’t buy the hype. As my favorite author commonly says, aspirin and arsenic might be both small, white, and round pills, but please don’t stop there when choosing which to take for a headache!

Very simply put, a dream in which you are conscious that you are dreaming is known as a Lucid Dream. The expression ‘lucid’ in this context means aware or conscious. But the extent of your ‘lucidity’ can vary according to how stable the dream experience itself is, how much you manage to remember about the dream when you wake up, and also how much influence you have in taking control of the dream itself.

It is this last factor which is the most remarkable and amazing thing about experiencing a Lucid Dream. Being able to identify the fact that you are having a dream is astounding. You can decide which direction you want the dream to go in and there really are no limits to what experiences you can have!

Just imagine that for an instant. It looks feels and sounds exactly the same as normal reality, except that you know that it isnt. You know that you are perfectly safe; you cannot die or get injured in a Lucid Dream. There are no normal rules and regulations about what you get up to! It is truly your own Individual Virtual Reality’, with a depth of realism far beyond the most sophisticated computer imitation.

Lucid dreaming is an incredible skill that more and more people are mastering. Having a Lucid Dream is something almost everyone experiences very occasionally, but just imagine how exhilarating it would be if you could Lucid Dream whenever you want to!

A Lucid Dream offers you the chance to have any experience you can imagine. You can meet and hang out with your favorite celebrities and historical figures, have erotic experiences, visit other worlds, speak with a long lost loved one; anything at all! There are no limits other than your imagination.

Having regular Lucid Dreaming experiences is something which until recently it took months to achieve. People would spend as long as a year in training to have their first Lucid Dream ” and it remained out of reach for some people no matter how long they tried.

So are there any simple ways of experiencing a Lucid Dream?

There are those who maintain that certain foods can foster Lucid Dreaming if eaten before bed; among these are mustard, dairy products and orange juice.

Also recommended by some are ice cream, popcorn, pickles and fish. Some people say that these foods are ideal for preparing your mind for Lucid Dreaming ” but of course, many of these are high in salt and fat, which isn’t very conducive t a good night’s sleep.

Can Technology Assist You?

As technology improves, so does the chance to get assistance with your Lucidity. There are now modern devices that you can use to stimulate and induce lucid dreams. There are innovative devices like masks and eyeshades that notice faster eye movement and blink a red diode when you begin to doze. This red beam is integrated into the dream, and reminds the person who is asleep that they are dreaming. The person can then start to control the dream once they realize that it actually is a dream!

One of the most exciting developments in Lucid Dreaming comes to us from the world of audio technology. Audio researchers have discovered a process called binaural beats, in which different frequencies are played into each ear.

Binaural frequencies help to synchronize the hemispheres of your brain ” listening to them helps the brain to reach REM sleep, which is the necessary state for Lucid Dreaming.

For anyone wondering what it is like to experience a Lucid Dream, then this is definitely the easiest and most reliable way of getting started!

“Sure, you think that’s true, but some people disagree. Who are you to judge?”

That view comes up often in discussions about religion and morality. It’s quite popular. The notion is that there are no overarching truths or morals that applies for all across cultures. Truth is relative to cultures or individuals, and all points of view are true.

Therefore, the conventional wisdom goes, one ought not judge other religions, lifestyles, or cultures as wrong or misguided. Doing so would make about as much sense as me judging your choice of one ice cream over another. It is okay if “my truth” gives me some personal benefit, but I shouldn’t be so naive to think that it applies to others. Tolerance is the buzz word of the day.

Chances are that either you’ve heard this many times before or you yourself think this way.

Is this point of view a good way of looking at religion, morality, and politics?

First, notice that it’s unlivable. If someone walked up to you and claimed to sincerely believe rape is ok, you wouldn’t reflect on that belief tolerantly–to paraphrase philosopher William Lane Craig, you would quickly usher them to the nearest mental health professional. It doesn’t matter which culture our rape fan comes from, he is simply mistaken.

Let’s conduct a little thought experiment. Say you are at work after hours, and you over hear an African-American female co-worker converse with a white male co-worker. As you spy in, the female looks hurt. Suddenly, the male co-worker shouts various racial slurs and calls her a derogatory part of the female anatomy. Has the male done anything wrong? Not just wrong “for you,” but wrong, end of story. If the male and female were both from, say, an Arabic or Asian culture, would that change things?

The answer, of course, is yes on the first question, and no on the second. Racism and misogyny are wrong, no matter who you are or where you are from. Period.

Next, the person who says “there is no universal truth, so you should be tolerant of others’ beliefs” contradicts herself. At the end of the day, she says that it’s wrong to say others are wrong! On the one hand, she says that truth and morality are relative, but on the other hand she offers that as if it is pure, unadulerated, obvious truth.

She thinks this is something that applies to others, not just herself. Here’s an example conversation that bears this out (that I again borrow from Greg Koukl):

“What’s true for you might not be true for me, so you shouldn’t push your morals on others. Be tolerant!”

“Do you believe that?”

“Yes.”

“Then that’s true for you, but why are you pushing it on me?”

You see? She says I shouldn’t judge, but that very sentence is a judgment itself. Why else would the word “should” pop up?

Another example:

“There is no ‘Truth’ with a big ‘T,’ only ‘little t’ truths.”

“Is that true for you, or just true period?”

She’s on the horns of a dilemma. If she answers that it’s true just for her, then she can be ignored–it’s just her personal take. But if it’s true period, then she has again contradicted herself. The fact of the matter is that some things are really true, some things are really false, and it’s ok. It is ok to critique points of view and lifestyles. In fact, it’s unaviodable.

by Rich Bordner

“All religions, cultures, and lifestyles are equally valid.”

Have you ever heard that? It is a very popular view espoused in discussions about religion, morality, and sometimes politics. The view is that there are no absolute truths or objective morals that are true for all people and cultures; rather, truth is relative. All roads lead to Rome, and all religions lead to God, as they say.

Like I’ve already said, this is a very common way to think. Maybe you yourself believe this!

Is this point of view a good way of looking at religion, morality, and politics?

First, even if someone says he believes this, his whole life contradicts it. He might wax eloquent about how morality is relative, but the next moment he’ll complain about someone cutting in line in front of him. If you listen carefully, you’ll find even the most ardent relativist make strident moral judgments every day as if they apply to more people than just him.

You know the answers: yes on the first and no on the latter. Labeling a woman with parts of her sexual anatomy, on top of calling her racial slurs, are wrong. Period.

Second, the “there is no universal truth, so one ought not judge others” is completely contradictory. The person who says it saws off the branch she’s sitting on. The person says, in essence, that it’s wrong to say others are wrong! As author Greg Koukl notes, it is tantamount to saying “there are no moral rules, but here’s one.” In other words, the person says that there are no truths or morals that applies to others, but then she turns around and offers something that she thinks applies to others: that one ought not judge or say others are wrong.

This isn’t something she thinks just applies to her; she thinks you should follow that rule as well. Here’s how you can tease this out in a conversation (that I again borrow from Koukl):

“What’s true for you might not be true for me, so you shouldn’t push your morals on others. Be tolerant!”

“Do you believe that?”

“For sure!”

“Then that’s true for you, but why are you pushing it on me?”

Do you see the problem? For the person who adopts the sentiment I’ve been examining, as soon as she opens her mouth and says something like “should” or “ought,” she has defeated herself.

Another example:

“There is no objective truth.”

“Is that true?”

In fact, it’s unaviodable.

by Nisal Karuiyaratna

According to the ancient Vedic thought, there are seven circles (Chakras) of energy referred to as energy wheels in the human body. These are present along the meridian of the body.

There are seven of these wheels (although a few more mystical practitioners say there are 14),

These begin at the base of the spine/genitals (root chakra) and extend right up to the top of the head (crown chakra).

The base chakra is red. As we go up, the solar plexus has a golden chakra; the belly or womb chakra is orange in hue. The heart has a green chakra, the throat blue and the center of the forehead is indigo. This acts like the third eye. At the crown, the chakra is violet that turns whiter towards its circumference away from the head.

As well as each chakra being associated with a particular color, they are numbered from one to seven with the base chakra being number one and the crown chakra being number seven.

The first chakra controls our physical health and vitality and our sexual health.

Chakra two rules a person’s creative powers.

The third commands the power of our will and desires.

The fourth chakra is responsible for our emotions and helps us to both give and receive love.

Chakra five manages the equation between our emotions and thoughts. It decides our communication powers and gives us personal magnetism.

Chakra six influences a person’s intuition, psychic powers and insights, also referred to as the sixth sense.

The seventh chakra is used to take us on astral voyages and connects us with cosmic awareness, some of which is what is captured and brought back down to the second chakra during artistic practices and which is also accessed on shamanic journeys.

When people feel they are connecting directly with God, they are focusing the energies of their seventh, purple-white, crown chakra.

The chakras spin in their natural state. If they are healthy then they will spin and will then provide you with the optimum energies you need. If however they become unbalanced they can not spin and you will therefore experience illness or sickness in one or more of the areas outlined.

The secret to health is that these chakras should be balanced. In case even one wheel is more active than others, the result can be addictions, neuroses, obsessive-compulsive disorders or unintentional cruelty.

Chakras can become unbalanced or clogged as a result of neglect or bad lifestyle. If your diet is bad, or you have a negative attitude toward sexual relations you will have problems with your first or root/base chakra. This is likely to lead to ill health and broken or difficult relationships.

If you start dabbling in things like black magic or even destructive negative thoughts about other people you are likely to unbalance or clog up the seventh crown chakra which will mean you are unable to connect with the higher cosmos and you are left feeling totally empty and fearful.

One of the most important aspects of a healthy, rapidly spinning chakra wheel is its flexibility; that is, it can open to receive energy from something good but close to repel energy from something bad. A mind is just like a hand: if it cannot both open and close then it’s broken. And a chakra is just like a mind-if it is healthy then it can both open and close as need be.

The way to use chakra therapy is to focus in a balanced way on each one of the seven major energy categories that each chakra commands. This should be done on a daily basis.

Take each major energy category and at some point each day meditate upon how its aspects are manifesting-or not manifesting-in your life, and as you do this visualize your body’s energy residing in that particular chakra. If you find your energy waning in any category, meditate on the steps you can take to make that category healthy and cleanse the related chakra.

Some people find that meditating on a gem stone the same color as the chakra wheel allows them to get a clear image in their mind of what actions they need to take to make it healthier.

Recently it has become possible to just listen to the individual chakra sound frequencies. By listening to the particular frequency of each chakra your own chakras resonates at this frequency and become completely balanced.

by Jonathan Benjem

Very few people acknowledge the presence of an internal energy reservoir in our bodies that is responsible for our physical and mental well-being. This lack of knowledge is more prevalent in the Western world, as the concept of spiritual energy was more prevalent and adhered to in the eastern countries, like India.

Most commonly, this is known as Chakra Energy, or the energy generated by the seven primary energy centers in the body. These energy centers are situated from the base of spine upwards to the head. A brief description of location of seven Chakras wont be out of place:

* Root or the Base Chakra (RED) located at the base of the spine, known as the coccyx.

* Spleen Chakra (ORANGE) located in the lower abdomen region, just below the navel.

* Solar Plexus or the Power Chakra (YELLOW) located in the stomach region, just above the navel.

* Heart Chakra (GREEN) located in the center of the chest.

* Throat Chakra (BLUE) located in the throat region.

* Third Eye Chakra (INDIGO) located in between the eyes.

* Crown Chakra (VIOLET) located on top of the head.

The uninterrupted movement of these Chakras produces the Chakra Energy. It is this energy, which is decisive in determining whether you enjoy a healthy physical and mental body.

The movement of the Chakras has to be harmonious in order to produce the desired effect. Naturally, the movement of Chakra is in sync, but imbalance can occur due to several physical or emotional pressures. The remedy is simply to work towards the achievement of Chakra Balance through physical and metaphysical means.

So, what exactly is Chakra Energy and how it influences our physical and mental well being? The Chakra System in our body is primarily responsible for the smooth functioning of every organ. As every bodily organ is connected with the brain through a complex web of nerves, the Chakras rotate to provide the necessary energy for all the nerves and organs so that they perform their natural functions in an unhindered manner. They not only rotate, but also the movement of their rotation is so synchronized that they complement each other in a unique way.

If the balance in their movements is achieved, then theres no greater friend than Chakras, and if there is an imbalance, theres no greater enemy than Chakras.

The other important thing to know about Chakra Energy is the difficulty level in your quest to attain Chakra balance. Indeed, its not easy to bring about a radical shift in Chakra movement overnight. However, if you persist and show extreme determination to attain that magical Chakra balance, believe me, its a life-changing experience. The process is called Chakra Meditation, and is performed by sitting or lying down in a most natural posture. The next step is to relax every body part and feel every cell and organ of the body starting from the toe. This means a lot of visualization, and in the process, lots of distractions in the form of negative emotions. But the key is to persevere and eventually, you will conquer every hurdle in your way and transform into the most evolved being known to mankind.

This may trigger a natural question, i.e., why this simple fact is largely unknown to the modern humans? The answer lies in the over-dependence on science and technology for even the basic human needs. Earth is sufficient to provide us with all the supplies needed for a healthy and peaceful existence. But the modern man has divided the control over the Earths blessings, resulting in constant struggle and over-dependence science to augment the supplies of even the basic necessities. Moreover, the thrust on technologically advanced gadgets has meant increasing drift from the spiritual aspect of life.

The best part of Chakra Energy is that it is always within your control. You just need a firm determination to balance the Chakra movements and in the process, ensure a healthy and contented existence, both in the physical as well as spiritual realm.

Did you know that our bodies have tremendous amounts of energies, which are sufficient to ensure our physical and mental health? This may come as news to many Westerners, but its a fact of life proved and followed by many ancient saints and scholars in countries, like India.

* Throat Chakra (BLUE) located at the base of the throat.

* Brow or the Third Eye Chakra (INDIGO) located between the brows on the forehead.

* Crown Chakra (VIOLET) located on top of the head.

These Chakras are in constant state of movement, which produces the energy, known as Chakra Energy. For the normal physical and mental health of the body, the synergy between the movements of these seven charkas plays the all-important role.

If their movement is not in sync, the health physical or mental is bound to suffer.

If the movement is in sync, the Chakras will produce sufficient energy to ensure physical and mental well being. However, if the movement is not in sync, the energy so produced will not be sufficient and itll invariably result in some body ailment.

Undoubtedly, Chakra Energy plays a decisive role in human lives, but is it possible to work around the Chakras and bring about a balance in their movements? Though Chakra movement is a natural phenomenon, yet you can direct your physical and spiritual energies towards attainment of Chakra balancing. Learning is an art and invariably, a slow process. But if your have determination and perseverance, its an achievable goal. The exercise is pretty simple. Firstly, just sit or lie down in the most comfortable posture with eyes closed. The next part is to relax and feel all the body parts from visible organs to the minutest cell within the body. Dont avoid the distractions, like myriad thoughts. With time, theyll disappear. Keep it going for about half-an-hour to any length of time for as many days as you can. Youll surely feel the difference.

Now, if thats so simple, why dont many people just give it a go and get rid of all the ailments from their lives? This is because our over-reliance on science to bring quick-fix changes in our body system. The scientific advancements have made humans too much dependent on technology. Resultantly, we have forgotten to live healthily naturally.

Chakra Energy is always at your disposal. All you need is to just follow the exercise religiously. The positive results will entail naturally. Remember, Chakra balancing is the only short cut towards attaining the optimum Chakra Energy required by the body.

Did you know that our bodies have tremendous amounts of energies, which are sufficient to ensure our physical and mental health? This may come as news to many Westerners, but its a fact of life proved and followed by many ancient saints and scholars in countries, like India.

This reservoir of energy is known as Chakra Energy. Chakras are the energy centers located in the upper half of the body. Though, there are thousands of Chakras in the entire human body, but primarily, there are just seven Chakras that dominate the overall health of the body. These are:

* Base Chakra (RED) located at the coccyx (base of the spine).

* Spleen Chakra (ORANGE) situated just below the navel.

* Solar Plexus (YELLOW) Chakra situated just above the navel.

* Heart Chakra (GREEN) situated in the center of the chest.

* Throat Chakra (BLUE) located at the base of the throat.

* Brow Chakra (INDIGO) situated on the forehead.

* Crown Chakra (VIOLET) located on top of the head.

The uninterrupted movement of these Chakras produces the Chakra Energy. It is this energy, which is decisive in determining whether you enjoy a healthy physical and mental body.

Your bodily health, both physical and mental, is entirely dependent on the harmonious movement of these seven primary charkas. Any kind of disharmony in their movements is unacceptable to the body and results in ill health in one form or the other.

So, whats the secret of Chakra Energy? The Chakra System of our body is an all-powerful spiritual mode of controlling and regulating our lives. The balance in the movement of these Chakras is the ultimate aim of any human being. This is because of the fact that the movements of body Chakras produce energy.

If the movement is in sync, the Chakras will produce sufficient energy to ensure physical and mental well being. However, if the movement is not in sync, the energy so produced will not be sufficient and itll invariably result in some body ailment.

The next question that arises in our quest for knowing more about Chakra Energy is how easy or difficult it is to achieve a balance in the movement of these Chakras? With practice, perseverance, and belief, nothing remains difficult forever. Undoubtedly, it is not a learn overnight process, but the modus operandi is pretty simple. All it involves is to sit in a convenient body posture, and relax and feel every body part from the visible organs to the minutest cell within. Early on, youll feel several distractions, like body pain, wavering thoughts, diverse emotions etc., but if you stick with the routine and perform this exercise at least half an hour daily, the results will be positive.

You may ask if achieving physical and emotional well being is so simple, then why are the incidents of such ailments on the rise? The answer is pretty obvious. The advancements in the modern day living have translated into our increasing reliance on the materialistic things. In the worldly pursuits, man has slowly but surely lost contact with the spiritual aspect of his existence. This myopic mindset has robbed humans of their earthiness.

The best part of Chakra Energy is that it is always within your control. You just need a firm determination to balance the Chakra movements and in the process, ensure a healthy and contented existence, both in the physical as well as spiritual realm.
