There’s no rivalry in Boston bigger than the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry, and perhaps no bigger rivalry in professional sports. Every matchup between the two teams is an epic showdown, and we’re about to witness another one.

I am all for human type people exercising their horrible motoring privileges, but really, some human type people should not have a license! That is what makes me mad. These morons get a driver’s license (from a gumball machine I’m guessing) and then hit the highway, wreaking havoc and making the good wanna be highway warriors nuts. Now, there are a bunch of different “horrible wanna be highway warriors,” but there are some that just really take the cake. I have listed my top ten horrible driver types. You may have your own top ten list, but these are the things that just really gripe my cookie. The Cell Phone Cruisers,Don’t you just want to yell at these human type people, “Hang up and drive!”? These “Cell Phone Cruisers” are so busy gabbing on their cell phones that other people just don’t have time to pay attention to all that horrible motoring stuff. So while other people are yakking away, other people are meandering into other lanes, going very slow, randomly braking for no reason and generally being a highway hazard.

1. My favorite one of all-time is Joe Horn’s, after he scored a TD for the saints. Horn literally lifted up the padding of the goal post while Michael Lewis (one of his teammates) found a cell phone prop buried beneath the goal post. At this point, Horn took the phone and pretended to speak on it. He was issued a 15 yard penalty and a $30,000 fine for the celebration.

Usually, when one recalls Gumby, their recollections go back to their childhood. For many people, this mean happy memories of a simpler life, without stresses of work and responsibilities. Maybe the memories include watching him on television.

Had I been warned Twitter might occasionally be akin to a cyber office water cooler or worse high school with adults would I have opened an account? The short answer would have been, no, No, NO! Followed up by, Are you crazy? I work at home to avoid those situations. Honestly I am very thankful I did not receive this warning until long after I had become part of the Twitter social networking phenomenon. The truth is I would have missed out on life changing people and events.
