A Muse Masterpiece

English rockers, Muse, incorporate modern rock and soaring melodies, that make them a music sensation and achieve them a large and loyal fanbase. The Resistance, the Muse’s newest album, is scheduled to release on the 14th of September, has has been receiving rave reviews from many music journalists.

The band Muse was started in 1994, and has since released four albums and have received numerous European awards. They offer a unique sound with a mix of electronic music, classical piano and stringed instruments. This is the sound that separate them from the rest, and make them extremely enjoyable to listen to.

With their fifth album, The Resistance, the band has continued to innovate their sound without straying from what makes them so successful. The tracks released so far have shown a propensity for art rock epics not unlike bands such as Sigur Ros or Pink Floyd. However, their prog rock stylings lend themselves more to a symphonic feel than a more traditional rock sound.

Fans have been ready for this mode of musical invention from Muse, from past albums. Their last releases, Black Holes and Revelations, featured an arena like 70s-glam sound, more so than past albums. The Resistance retains the earlier albums spacey nuttiness but brings it back to vaguely more customary ground for long-time Muse listeners.

The release date for the Muse’s latest album, The Resistance, was originally released to members of their fan club, via e mail. Since then, the outstanding reviews have had many fans in anxious anticipation.
